Brambles and Her 2nd Litter of Puppies
So we have been thinking? Brambles is now 5 yrs old and a lovely little lady, do we have a 2nd litter? Yes and this time it will be her last. We will keep one small girl for ourselves and find hew homes for the rest.
We know from the first litter Brambles makes a great mum.
We have used the same mate for Brambles, (Rob an English Springer Spaniel - Buccleuch Victory of Arduinna) a trained gun dog a lovely lad. Click here to see Robs website www.arduinnagundogs.co.uk
Brambles whelped on 27th January 2016 giving birth to 3 boys and 4 girls, all healthy and born with no complications, Bramble managing it all on her own while we observed.
We have added videos on YouTube of this litter and have given the puppies working names, (in order of birth), Bruno, Emma, Branston, Brambles, Dee Dee, Rafael and Charley.

As with the first litter, they are KC registered, dew claws removed, full tails, vaccinated and chipped before moving to their new families.
Day 40,
Today we are starting to feed them in their own bowls, we have a stand for 5 bowls which is the last litters and new stand of three for the boys, as the boys are eager for their food. They have also had a flannel bath to give them a clean and by the look of it, us also!
They all have their kennel names and working names
Danscape Major Bruno = Bruno, he has a local new home on a farm,
Danscape Brambles Girl = Emma, but now Maple and a new home near Brighton.
Danscape Branstons Doctor = Branston, a new home in Liverpool
Danscape Brandy Star = Brandy, a new home in Goole.
Danscape Miss DeeDee = DeeDee, a new home in Aberdeen.
Danscape Bracken Boy = Rafael (Raf) now JJ, a new home in South Lincolnshire
Danscape Tailend Charlotte = Charley is staying with us.
The first puppy ( JJ ) has gone to his new home today 24/03/16, Brandy went on 26/03/16 to her new home and Maple followed the next day followed by Bruno on 28/03/16. the house is getting quieter as our puppies move on to their new lives, we have had updates that they have settled in their new homes, which is great as we know we don't need to worry but it is only natural to worry, Next weekend Branston and DeeDee are leaving the house. JJ will be back in two weeks for a weeks holiday with us, looking forward to that as will Branston , he will be here for two weeks in summer when or son and his family go on hols.
Again it looks like they are all over the country but we hope to keep in touch as with the first litter, well we try to be different, we are not a sell and forget sort of people we try to be here to help.
These puppies come with a very good pedigree and will make good pets or working dogs. Dee Dee from the first litter is a working dog in Devon, living on a farm and attending shoots, her owner is very happy with her. the others from the first litter are all pets , one running the hills of Derbyshire, one in Leicestershire, and two in South Lincolnshire the second litter add one near Brighton, one Goole, one Liverpool, one Aberdeen, three more in South Lincolnshire. we will have some travelling to see them all.
